Oh, so Busy!
Please believe me when I say, it's not for lack of desire or effort when I don;t gete this blog done daily!
Between moving car loads from my storage unit to my new place, helping with babies, washing and cooking, and spending 5-6 hours on the phone with Microsoft support and the US store where I purchased my laptop ( and still need an other call!) -oh and yeah, going to a wedding south of the border yesterday, there hasn't been a minute!
And of course, this means I've had no access to Office, so not able to work on anything that requires it.
So, just quickly, it's not even 6:30 Sunday morning and I have another twelve hour day out, so I wanted to get something in here.
These past few days I have done well with my fasting hours, mostly surpassing this week's minimum of 13 hours, but I have had some foods, I hadn't previously had-like last night, I made that my "cheat meal", just coz it made sense, but earlier this week I had gone to dinner with a friend and not mentioned my self imposed restrictions. I know she always cooks very organically, so I didn't bother, but as a result, a did partake in a little of what I haven't in 7 weeks. As with last night, I didn't overeat, but I do want to re-set to my previous clarity of borders, and with special events aside, keep Sunday as the option for a 'cheat meal'.
It's actually harder to maintain discipline once you have a taste of something than it is to avoid it altogether. Obviously, the goal is to get to that place of a fasted life, where discipline is always engaged, so it's habitual, but I'm not at that point yet, as I am only half way- tomorrow (Monday).
I didn't get to the gym, but worked out twice with moving ( yes, there are stairs too!) and did two short upper body sessions at home. I hope to get three sessions in at gym this week ( and will still be moving!)
Word WiseThe last few days had me looking at the principle of the necessity of vision in order for whole-hearted commitment, and the enabling grace to fulfil it, to flow. Also, trying to remind myself of the Lord's advice to 'ask, seek and knock'.
In addition to this, wanting to keep my focus on I am the Lord who heals you Ex 15:26 and It is He who gives you the ability to create wealth Duet 8:18.These are areas I need to strengthen, and if I am to succeed in business as the Lord promised, and in well being, I need my heart fully established. not just knowing what the verses say.
Work Wise
This coming week, as I begin to take more time for my own work in my own office, I will be taking stock and reviewing and re-setting the goals and objectives, according to the original vision I had from the Lord. As well as the business plan and sales forecasts set during my NEIS course. I am signing the final agreement with them tomorrow morning, in order to kick off my new business, Learning With Lisa Online the following Thursday, July 11.
I had some stressy moments about money with my new accommodation obligations, but like I said, the Lord is faithful. My pay for a gig I did a month ago, came through on Friday, which was much better than if it had come sooner, AND I received a request last night to do a short 2 hour gig tonight, which helps as well!
Plus, I am starting on illustrations for my friend's next book rather than working on copy, editing and formatting and uploading book interiors! Hallelujah! Paid painting break!
ALL of these little bits and pieces add up and make a difference, and will fit into my flow, once I'm working in my space. I'll still be up here with Rache two nights and days a week, but should get into a good flow the rest of the time. I do love being here with my babies and am a little concerned how Pearl will have to adjust to me not being here to knock on my door and get into bed with me for the initial times that I'm not here.
So! That's my update for now. Nearly time to shower and dress for church.
See you soon!
Be Blessed!

100 Days of Transformation-Day 56-55-IN Its Time I will do it Swiftly.
8 weeks to go
Ask, seek and find...this has been a theme for Sunday and Monday. JESUS said...
Ask and it will be given you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, the one who seeks, finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Mt 7:7-8
In fact, in several places, Jesus said something similar, ask anything in His name, that the Father may be glorified. The proviso is that is Word abides in us and we abide in Him. If this is how we are living, we will ask in line with God's desires and plans, and He will hear and answer us.
Even though He knows all, He wants us to ask, so that we will know He hears and answers. In my last post, I shared a bit about that.
But here are some other verses you can click on, or look at in your own Bible, that confirm the Words of Jesus, repeatedly. The bible says let all matters be established by 2-3 witnesses (paraphrase 2 Cor 13:1, Deut 19:5)
Jn 14:13-14
Jn 15:16
Jn 16:23-24 * "That Day" refers to when they have received the Holy Spirit
Ps 27:8 An call to seek
Jer 33:3 Another invitation to have mysteries revealed.
Jesus also said, if we have faith NOTHING will be impossible for us, and that, with God ALL things are possible. We are told that every promise of God is "YES", and we shout the Amen, to His glory!
These are absolutes. Jesus left no grey area. But we must know what his word says and what is promised. And our hearts must be established in those truths more deeply than in what we were raised in the natural to be believe.
A week ago, I asked God to lead me to the place He had for me, instead of striving to push for what I thought was best. His leading was instant, the process now complete, and the moving begun! I had his favour EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!! Saved time and money, worry and fears cast away.
We are encouraged to ask for wisdom ( James 1:5), with confidence that God will give it. James 4:1-3 also points out that we have not, cause we ask not, and we do not receive, because we ask with wrong motives-worldly, selfish motives. This doesn't refer to necessities. God has promised those. And we are blessed to be a blessing, not to hoard greedily.
He says He will lead, guide, instruct ( Ps 37:8-9)and He is faithful- if we will be led, guided and instructed. And even when we're not, He doesn't give up on us, He warns. He is always there, whenever we turn back to Him in godly sorrow, to pick us up and walk us out of our mess, with joy and thanksgiving in our heart.
Anything practical covered by the promises, and He even cares about the details that are special to you.The place I have is gorgeous and the price exceptional. I had favour with all. That's God.
But I did have to get out of the way, ask Him to guide and trust in His direction. he is faithful.
Have a great day and don't forget to lay your hearts desires thankfully before God, along with His promises for your own heart's remembrance...and know, in its time, He will do it swiftly! Amen!

100 Days of Transformation- Day 57- Week 7 kicks off!
This Week's Plan
Had a great day in church and fellowship, including a love lunch!
After that, I went to meet my potential new roomy and we instantly connected! She is another 50+ woman, and so is the owner- so it felt great!
I am taking the place and will say more tomorrow.
I also had a gym visit. And...tonight, I kick over to the Intermittent Fasting/Daniel Fast + Protein plan. In some ways, this one is harder than what I've been doing-but, it will be good for me!
Starting with the 13 hr fast-only water.
God is Jehovah Jireh- the Lord my Provider

I want to give a little testimony about this place that I've been led to.
I had had my heart set on something. This is often the case when we are believing God for His provision. We decide how it should look, the form it should take, when it should come or the delivery package it comes as. Sometimes, these view are created by limiting beliefs. Holding on to our ideas can keep us from seeing and receiving the best that God wants to give us.
I knew God had called me back to the church I am attending: ROFC Reach Out for Christ and the quality of welcome I received and the place made for me confirms this profoundly. I had thought perhaps I would have a home there, too, as there are some accommodation options there-but none are right for me, at this point.

One of the outdoor homey nooks I created in a previous rental- I love it! |
When I awoke last Tuesday and this hit home, so I prayed "Lord, lead me to the place YOU have prepared for me, please." With that simple faith-filled request, I abandoned my own ideas about what I wanted. I know very well how capable God is of supplying me with accommodation, no matter how hard it may seem in the natural-and I don't tick the boxes for real estate agents in any way!
A few seconds later, I went online and for some reason, only two places came up. Both with 50+ women (I hadn't wanted to share at all-but I had requested friends my age!) and both offering a second room, which I need as a home office. The more expensive one was in a more desired location ( according to my desires), but the other was still close to church, still close to the beach and nearer to my daughter and grandbabies- plus, it was a GREAT deal!
God is good, and He is faithful. He always keeps His promises, but we must trust Him to deliver in His perfect timing and in his own perfect way- and Rejoice! as we wait patiently. :)
So, I am going to leave you with this verse:
Rejoice in the Lord, always. Again , I say Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all , The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:4-7
Amen! Amen! Amen!

100 Days of Transformation- Day 59-58-Preparing for Another shift
The Weeks Fly By
So, coming into another weekend. And the end of another 3 week phase.
Spiritually Speaking
Overall, I think I am progressing quite well. Doing this blog is keeping me in the Word, but I feel the need for more of everything and less of some other things, so have implemented a partial fast on the other content-less of it and replaced it with LIFE producing stuff!
In this busy, very young-family household, I have a fraction of the time I will have once I move into my own place-hence my eagerness. BUT, I DO love being here, building relationships, so I try to stay 'present' and content in this precious season with my growing grandbabies.
I have listened a few times to Charles Spurgeon's sermon The Years the Locusts Have Eaten
It speaks deeply to my heart because I feel like I wasted and lost so many years- which was probably one of my greatest fears- to waste what's given me. It also speak very acutely regarding these 100 Days, as it is the goal overall-to get over all that was associated with poor choices and directions I took after initially abandoning my hope in God as the Satisfier of my soul-which was so contrary too, to the years I'd already had with Him, but these things reveal the holes in our hearts, the chinks in our armour and the weaknesses that will destroy us, if we do not heed the Word. God wants us whole and sound- heal us and restore us thru and thru... He is, after all, Jehovah Rapha- The Lord who heals us!
Here is a great blog, leading the way by Dr. Michael Youssef for added reading on that. He basically points out that God is saying healing is what I am and when we come to God, we get access to wholeness on every level! hallelujah!
I am profoundly grateful God brought me back into the Light, and has been restoring me. Things have improved little by little, but I believe this year will see the end of any internal blemish I have let hold me down as a dead weight, and with it, all other kinds of excess weight.
He required that I walk it out, just as I did with Alopecea, so that I can be strong in my stand-with my mind renewed, my conscience clear and my heart FULL of rejoicing!
Freedom is the goal. Freedom to fully and boldly love and serve my God and Father, and my Lord and Saviour, by the power of His indwelling Holy Spirit.
On the natural level, I did 4 gym trips so far and have been on the continuing Daniel Fast with protein, however, I do feel the need to lessen the portions of the concentrated foods ( protein and carbs like potatoes/pumpkin).
Going into Week 7 my table says Intermittent fasting , Daniel fast + Protein.
When I am living in my own space and on my own schedule, this 12 hours will likely be 10:30-6:30...or something like that. My eating plan is week 1 with 13 hours fasting and an 11 hr window.
Week 2: 14 hrs fasting:10 hrs eating window,
Week 3: 15 hrs fasting: 9 hrs eating window.
The final goal is 16 hrs fasting: 8 hrs eating window, which may become part of the following phases.
The one other change I'm adding is a 'cheat meal' where I can have whatever I want-within reason. Allowing this grace tho, means firm boundaries the rest of the time.
I have lost weight and some centimetres, but really don't want to get caught up there, and it is easy for me to do so. I will check both again after a full month from joining the gym.
What kind of changes or improvements, if any, do you feel you need to make in your daily routine?
What is stopping you?
Let me know in the comments.
Onward... :)
Blessings!

In this tri-week block, I'm introducing Intermittent Fasting. This is a principle whereby you select a period of hours as an eating window and the rest of the time, only water. It sounds worse than it is, coz you do sleep through a lot of those hours-hopefully! You start timing fro the last thing you eat in the evening. It's good to do at least 12 hours, with the goal to get to 16, having only an 8 hr window.
You can put that 8 hrs wherever it suits you best. When I am living in my own space and on my own schedule, this 12 hours will likely be 10:30-6:30...or something like that. My eating plan is week 1 with 13 hours fasting and an 11 hr window.

100 Days of Transformation-Day 61-60: God Provides
This Blessed Salvation
God lets us know His nature, through His Word and Promises. But He has also revealed His Names and those names tell us who He wants to be for us. They nicely sum up the qualities of this blessed salvation that he has wrought for us, by his own hand, at his own expense, in Jesus.
God cares about the intimate details of your life and knows your own heart much better than you do. In His dealings with us, He reveals the conditions hidden deep in our inner man, and, if we allow His too, walks us out through the process of being completely freed from them.
It was for freedom's sake , that Christ has set us free.Gal 5:1
For this purpose was the Son of God manifest- to destroy the works of the evil one I Jn 3:8 -which was to enslave people, according to Hebrews.
Now, since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity , so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is, the devil, and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. Heb 2:14-15
That's what this salvation does. Sets us free from the corrupt nature of sin, with which we were born, and gives us the ability to live godly lives, by the grace of God, walking by faith in the righteousness He credits to us, through Jesus paying the price for our sinful acts as well as giving us a new nature, and providing an ongoing purging ( I Jn 1:9 )of unrighteous acts through Jesus' blood- which ever flows-ensuring us a clean heart and a clear conscience through confession and forgiveness.
He made Him , who knew no sin, to become sin, so that we could be made the righteousness of God through Him 2 Cor 5:21
Because of all this, God is able to be our God and our own loving Father. His Names reveal what that means for us.
The Names of God
Jehovah Jireh- The Lord will Provide Gen 22:13-14
Jehovah Rapha- The Lord who heals us Ex 15:26
Jehovah Nissi- The Lord our banner [Victory] Ex 17:8-16
Jehovah Shallom- The Lord our Peace Judges 6:24
Jehovah Ra'ah- Jehovah is the way, my Shepherd Ps 23:1
Jehovah Tsidkenu- The Lord our righteousness Jer 23:6
Jehovah Shammah- Jehovah is the Light & ever present Ez 48:35
And today, I want to talk about God's faithfulness as a provider. Remember, God is limited in His ability to work in us when we do not establish ourselves in faith. Fortunately, He also uses prayer warriors and intercessors who pray and stand in the gap for those trapped in the snare of the devil under the dominion of sin and living in darkness.
God provided the sacrifice we needed and He provides His Spirit to live IN us, once we're born again, so we can know our sonship in the kingdom of light and when we live in obedience to His Word, we are able to enjoy all His promises and provision-salvation.
Faithful Again and Again.
I spent all my life relying on God really-especially in the area of money coz I struggled with creating a decent income. I wasn't raised in an abundant mentality when it came to finance- altho BOTH my parents originally came from wealthy families. I believe all that will change permanently this year, and I am on track, following the leading of the Lord to walk that out. I just have to stay with it!
God orders my steps, He orchestrates my situations and circumstances and as I am obedient, things line up with wonderful and delightful synchronicity. NO ONE can do that like God- who knows the end fro the beginning and everything in between!
So, my main verses for today are Gen 22:13-14 declaring god as our provider. But also,
My god shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus Phil 4: 19
And...
God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work 2 Cor 9:8
God want s to bless you, give you more than enough, so that you can bless others as well as takew care of your family!
Oh and this one!!
It is He [God] who gives you the ability to create wealth, and so confirms his covenant which He swore to your ancestors, as it is today. Deut 8 :18
When God makes a promise-it lasts eternally.
Ps 90:17 Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us,; yes , establish the work of our hands!!
If you are walking with God and have waited upon him for direction, if you don't quit you will see this fruit for your labour because God PROMISED.
Is it getting any clearer how you use the Word of God as your anchor?
Do not be moved.
We're believing with you!
Amen

100 Days of Transformation- Day 62-Making Sudden Progress
Leaps of Faith
Today has been another one of those 'leap ahead' days. I went to bed feeling a bit desperate about certain aspects of my situation. Mounting pressure that I don't need and it doesn't help regarding my new business goals and obligations and finding a place to live.
New Home
But this morning, upon waking, I prayed a slightly different kind of prayer regarding my accommodation, and I was lead to different kinds of ads. This led to an appointment tomorrow and I already feel like I'm moving there!
We shall see, of course, but at the very least, there came a shift and I have a better idea about how to move forward-and that is often the missing bit. Hallelujah!
Home Based Business
The prospective new home, caters perfectly to the new home-based business and is a remarkably low cost! So, that's one business clog in place, should that go ahead. But also, my new business and my current focus on workshops has been well supported in that responses to going in that direction have been very favourable, already providing opportunity for a joint workshop with a very good friend and co-creative, as well, workshop dates with the Gold Coast Libraries.
In addition to that, today, I was approached by someone who has a website that acts as a hub for workshop facilitators and teachers. You list yous classes/workshops for free.. and pay a meagre 7c in the dollar when someone buys a place. You can even list your free workshops and pay NO fee!
This is a prefect blend for where I am-and what's more, it actually came through LinkedIn, which is where I was led to begin to promote my business-but I hadn't even done that yet!
Often that way...
It often does happen, after a challenging day or intense period, the breakthrough flows. The fact that I finally got to some good word on the glorious benefits of our wonderful Salvation in Jesus, probably helped enormously, too!
It is a case, as I said in my closing comment yesterday from Is 60:22: In its time, I will do it swiftly.
(which is a favourite saying of mine)
Habakkuk 2:3For the vision awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it. It will certainly come and will not delay.
God's Timing IS Perfect
I know we don't often think so, because we dislike discomfort. But God knows what we need and how best to get it to us to do us the HIGHEST good. And to enhance our relationship with Him the most.
All I have to say again is, REJOICE! So glad to have my voice back too!
I'm still gymming and fasting ...week 6
P.s. I even had time to write TWO blogs as everyone napped!
Here's my other one. Totally different. Creativity and making books
Blessings!

Our Salvation is blood bought. And only Jesus could provide that sinless sacrifice. |

100 Days of Transformation-Day 65-64 The Lord's Day & On
I had another, awake all night situations.
I've been enjoying waking up in the watches of the night to pray, worship, and/or journal. I like the stillness and I've woken quite alert at times.
So, at 2:30 I decided to journal a bit about things, but an hour later, although I tried to sleep, I felt more awake than ever-and stayed that way till I got up.
Then , I went to lead the worship at church.
After church, a couple of my friends, the pastor's wife and the children's church leader, invited me to lunch again-so I went :)
On the way home, I stopped at the gym, for some resistance training for an hour, ONce showered, I started to pay with a pop up card design for my eldest daughter' fiance I watched Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston on a fun, somewhat tongue in cheek, murder mystery on Netflix.
Soon after, the family arrived home. I played with my pop-up card till my movie was over and then I went straight to babies and making dinner.
I've just come up stairs to write my blog ( I did notes in the middle of the night), but now, I am SOOO tired, I can 't sit still- let alone keep my eyes open. I either have to get to it earlier...
Day 64
I had to stop and go to sleep. And I didn't get up until 10 hours later ( except to wee thru the night ).
That is quite uncharacteristic of me. But I felt very tired.
It's only 8:15am, but I want to do this now, if I can.
The Benefits of walking with The Lord
God makes promises to us. This is how we are able to access the benefits. Naturally, we must believe those promises. John G. Lake once said something along the lines of Christian ought to be most wildly optimistic people in the world. Because if you establish your heart in the promises of God, you really have overcome all that the world throws at you and have peace and grace through it, in the midst.
It's like having something who has the credibility and authority always with you, saying "It's ok. Everything will be fine." It IS having that someone.
Ps 103:1-5 for starters
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me
bless His holy name.Bless the Lord all my soul,
And forget not all His benefits,
Who forgives all your [my] iniquities
who heals all your [my]diseases,
who redeems your[my] life from the pit
and crowns you [me[ with steadfast love and mercy
who satisfies you [me[ with good [things]
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Could we get a better deal anywhere! These are the qualities of the salvation God has promised us.
But just reading these verses, and others like them, will not make it an automatic experience for us. We must supplant the old thinking that says we are condemned and guilty and sick and poor, and without hope.
It requires taking our eyes off what we see and hear and feel etc in the natural realm and give priority and authority to the WORD. The promises must become bigger in our thinking and in our hearts than ANYthing else.
Let God be true and every man [ thing, circumstance, event, experience, friend, doctor...] a liar. Rom 3:4 Meaning that God's Word is the unquestionable FINAL Word.
God's Word is the unquestionable FINAL word.
This takes Labouring to enter into rest. Heb 4:11 which simply means work smarter, not harder! Put your strength and focus and effort where it is going to count and make a transformational difference, resulting in the peace of God (nothing missing, nothing broken) becoming your experience, starting in your heart and mind.
2 Pet 1:4-11 please click and read.
This verse, paraphrased, basically says that God has given us access to everything we could ever need through His promises. Obviously, we need to know what those promises are! They give us the knowledge of the nature of God and allow us a way to participate in that nature, enjoying all that goes along with it as our own.
This passage also highlights a response from us, to walk in a manner in keeping with that nature, as we are able, at any time, to deviate, and lose what we have gained. To enjoy this amazing Life and STAY FREE, we must continue to walk in the light of God's Word. There is NO other way in this world to be free from sin or the effects of it.
Ps 103 is an example of promises that reveal the Father. The Father promised a Saviour and through Him and our relationship with Him, all the benefits of salvation. Remember, Jesus IS the Word made Flesh. He is a promise fulfilled in every way. AS is the gift of the Holy Spirit to live within us. Another promise is that the Spirit will quicken our mortal bodies - that means to make them alive Rom 8:11
How To Apply The Word to Renew Your Mind And Establish Your Heart.
As you go about your day, you are probably playing various "tracks" in your head. Self talk, or mutterings, that are supporting some kind of mindset about you and how you see yourself, your world and you in that world.
The key is to become aware of when and how you are doing this. As you are diligent to focus on scriptures, repeat them, mull them over, think about what they mean and what God is saying he wants to be and do in your life, the Word will go to work in you. The power to fulfil those promises are contained in the Word of His Power.
When God SAID...there WAS- Gensis CH 1. That's how potent His Word is. It will go to work in you, and will lead through stages of awareness. When you can see that you are being moved by natural thinking that is contrary to His Word, or the hope that you have in it, FORSAKE YOUR THOUGHTS ( Is 55:10-11 click and read) Be willing to accept what God says instead. Take the promises, speak them out and take captive any thought that dares to exalt another option. ( 2 Cor 10:3-5 ) Your life and well-being depend on it. I have all kinds of fun and creative ways to keep the Word in my thinking. They may seem simplistic...but they are effective. If you would like access to any of these, let me know in the comments
The promises must be what come out of you when you are squeezed and under pressure, NOT your fears, doubts etc...then, you know your heart is established.
100 Days Continues-Week 6
So I am on Day 36, counting the other way :) Still in the second dietary stage of Daniel fast + protein.
Still, no bread, pasta , rice, noodles. 2 coffees usually one decaf. After this week, it changes again, and I will share how, later.
What it comes down to, is that every day, I am still 'no' to myself for a bunch of things. I am going for the discipline. I felt out of control in a lot of ways, and silencing the voice of the flesh just helps to bring things into a healthier perspective. Balance and boundaries: two of my VERY FAVOURITE things.
The personal situation that has carried much emotional weight flares up now and then, but comes with more of a resigned attitude. I know God is walking me through the sorrow of grief and loss, but you must admit, it's pretty good to have so much good stuff to sustain me along the way- so that I no longer resort to unhealthy ways to comfort myself. And that is GOD! That's how he does things.
He will do it for you, too, if you ask Him.
I had a dream the other night that people had started to notice a change in my appearance. From that point, it began to change even more swiftly. Everything else, too. It was as if the seed, in the darkness of the dirt, putting out roots, suddenly showed it's face in the light and once in fullaccess of the elements took off like a Beanstalk! And yes, that is how God does...
It may tarry... but in its time. it happens swiftly. Trust the timing and stay diligent and faithful. Is 60:22

100 Days of Transformation- Day 68,67,66-Full On
ok!
So the past three days ...AND nights have been full-on and hands-on-hence, the lack of my daily blog post. It has bothered me, but what can you do? The things that took that time, needed that time. It also means I didn't get the usual time in the Word either.
Sometimes, you just have to let the flow of how things go be what it is, draw on the Word within. Stir it up and make it living food again.
Blending Ingredients
I feel like I will spend much of tomorrow, Sunday- re-establishing my footing. It's the final day of Week 5, and beginning of week 6 ( My days are sundown to sundown). I feel that when I re-introduced meat to my menu, it triggered a bit of a mixed result, coz usually three weeks of a Daniel Fast signals the end of all dietary denial. I still say 'not today' to myself over a bunch of things (toast, rice, biscuits, pasta) lol, so I guess I'm still living the 'fasted ' life, but it definitely seemed different. The rhythm or swing or something... changed.
And then, when I added the gym to the mix, it accentuated that even further. I've had a lot coming at me, but haven't caught up with it. The high I had to start the week was wonderful. The swirl of hectic activity the second half has exhausted me! And I was SOOOOOO sore from the gym. It took a relatively pathetic amount to have such a dramatic impact-but hey! This is no 17 yr old body! lol This more-than-three-times-that body is still largely unfamiliar territory in the world of resistance training, but I am on the way. :)
So, like mixing a list of ingredients, after adding a new baby, and shifting diets and adding the gym, special events, freelance work due dates, new business essentials...it all slowly comes together into a single well blended dough, but initially, flour can fly!
And all I want is DOWNTIME.
I need to create. Clear the inner workbench and play a bit, then, take stock and lay some fresh plans.
I am someone who needs to daily balance my inner accounts through stillness, reflection, journaling and making art. Reconcile, Process, Assess and File.
Sometimes, prayer and worship with music are one way of accomplishing this. Study and meditation on the Word.
Sometimes, intimacy with my Creator, comes as I create! Gonna create some special cards tomorrow!
For Now...
It was my intention, these past three posts, to share on the promised beauty of the salvation that has now become real for anyone who believes, and over ensuing weeks, to expand on it.
But today, I just have ONE scripture:
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe , first for the Jew and then, for the Gentile. Rom 1:16
This salvation is available for ALL. For ANYone. For WHOsoever will believe.
It is available for you.
Come to Jesus. Enjoy the salvation he paid so dearly for.
Amen.
P.S. My voice is all good again. Don't know what that was all about, but I am to be able to sing again!

100 Days of Transformation- Day 69-Rejoice!
It's been a wonderful, long day!
Burleigh For Soul Food Breakfast
I was down at Burleigh by 7:45 ( bit later than intended), and feeding my soul on exquisite delights given to me by the hand of my Creator. I walked the 4 km round trip on the extra wide stretch of low tide beach and just rejoiced some more!
I even made another quick video, to give tribute to the Artist of all that was around me.
From there, I visited a friend, then, to church's mid week meeting. Of course, some quality fellowship after that, then home with babies and got dinner ready early.
Outstanding Feature
The day was shrouded in glory for me. Fullness of joy and experiencing a full cup, in every way, my heart light with the pleasure that only freedom in God can bring.
I am still riding this joy of my salvation roll and I want to continue to see it gain momentum.
I was going to share scriptures about this precious salvation, but after adding a workout to my early evening, I am struggling to move lol, and am also healthfully exhausted!
But everything is wonderful.
Even the sad situation I've been walking through has given way under the power of this divine joy! That night of sincere praise and rejoicing broke the back of it!
None of my natural circumstances, bar the decisions I've been making and taking action upon, have changed...but I am lit up inside!
REJOICE!
Back in the first week of May, the Lord, by His Spirit, told me, The time of mourning is over: Rejoice! The season of singing is come.
From that moment, the desire to 'rejoice' through my worship leading with songs of deliverance, has just grown in intensity. I'm looking for songs that focus on our JOY in the Lord. The joy of our salvation. That's what makes us strong. The joy of the Lord is our strength Neh 8:10
Added Point
I want to add a point that I forgot to include yesterday about taking action.
When you decide to change habits in your life, or stop participating in some practice, it's critical to not only stop doing what you want to quit, but to substitute a new thing to do.
Rom 12:21 says Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good.
If you want to change your behaviours, but you're used to being around a group of people who want to continue in them, you will likely need to separate yourself in some way, from those people in order to make a good standing for yourself in something more desirable.
You cannot just take something away and leave the void. You must fill it with something. This helps to minimise opportunity for temptation to fall back. When temptation comes, it provides an avenue for distraction, or refocus toward your higher purpose, accompanied by action. In short, it's a way out when wanting to discipline yourself in your faith.
Make a plan to wholeheartedly nourish good fruit by doing what's good, and the old, rotten stuff will starve and wither, and fall off, being replaced by better.
P.s. I added this link below because it is one of my best word studies on how we draw enabling strength from the grace of God, by following Jesus' example... and later, Paul's.
Enjoy! It certainly blessed me to put it together.

100 Days of Transformation-Day 70-Follow On
Inspired By The Spirit
Today, I was shown around my new gym and did my first introductory session-following through on my efforts yesterday to sign up. I met with a few glitches, but felt sure this was the place. When I went today, I discovered that the manager, Bec, is a Christian-nice touch, Lord!
I like the way this gym works-24/7, clean and super secure.
Aside from a visit tomorrow, I am booked for a free session with Nikki, just to get to some kind of start up structure for myself to begin to work to.
I know it's all about getting my body moving and using it to keep it functional.
I want to say that although I have some more action to move on, the timing of this action has come out of the spiritual focus. Like the Fast itself, I had the prompt for it, but it was weeks before I felt ready to undertake the commitment of saying 'no' to a bunch of different foods and daily blogging about it-even when it doesn't seem to matter.
The 'daily building' with the blogging is important for what God wants to do in me, for me, through me. It's part of taking time to appreciate the changes that are taking place and the journey that is being made. It helps to correlate natural events with spiritual exercises and adds confirmation to directives I received, proving God's word-and my hearing of it-true.
Aside from the gym, the e-book and the workshop, I did make another decision yesterday: To get to Burleigh tomorrow (Wednesday) morning for some sun, sand, surf and much overdue walking pleasure! (about 4 kms)
Follow Through
I didn't get much time for following up on the workshop and e-book, although I did confirm a date with my venue and I did outline a first draft of ideas for the e-book.
My beach visit is on! I will probably go between 6:30-7am.
And I'm going to visit Jess for an hour for coffee before the midweek service.
Continuing to take action on the e-book and workshop are really important. The "JUST DO IT" adage is really powering the compelling.
The desire to re-think and over think is always there, but I have an inner Guidance, reminding me to keep it simple and simply get it done. This is the difference that prayer and praise, the Word and the Spirit within make. It is GRACE.
Enabling Grace
When you commit to the Word, and to being led by the Spirit, you hear more clearly and you have the grace to do it.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to [say 'no'] renounce ungodliness, and to worldly passions, and to live self controlled, upright ,and godly lives in this present age, waiting for our Blessed Hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Tit 2:11-13
This grace is the start of our salvation...and remains the centre and finisher of all that God does toward us.
More on this blessed salvation tomorrow.

100 Days of Transformation- Day 71-JUST DO IT
Oh, What A Feeling!
Even though faith is not dependent on feelings, it feels oh so good when our feelings start to work for us, as a result of our meditation on the Word, rather than undermine and sabotage our efforts.
Last week was a challenging one, but it ended well...and the ripple overflow is still reverberating out all across today!
Back On Track
It was as if I could feel myself coming back into view, a vision carried on the wind, and played across my heart. I could touch and taste what once was before I took a long, dark detour when I stepped away from trusting God completely.
Don't ever do that.
But here's what it led to:
Decisions
Actions
And those two things are wonderful power surges in the psyche of us simple little beings.
I decided on specific tasks I have fumbled over and danced around for weeks/months even, having the words in my mind constantly saying, 'you need to just DO something!' Take action. So, I pulled out my Action Plan for my new business, soon to open for trading. And also looked at the forecast I had set for July...and just decided to go ahead to work on those goals!
Ha! Go figure.
What's the worst that can happen? Nothing!
And if nothing is the worst, then, what really is there to lose-so why deliberate and procrastinate over details and issues that are not even relevant?
I can always modify it along the way as I work-and it's so much easier to turn a moving vehicle.
So, I decided I would work on the e-book that needs to be ready for July 11, and book a venue to host and facilitate a workshop on 3 Simple Steps to Kickstart Your Creativity-with a leaning toward making a personal book!
From there, arising out of a simple conversation with a good friend- a JOINT workshop, collaborating together in August!! That was a very exciting development.
After that, I truly felt like Superwoman! All lit up with fervour and zeal to really get moving! Whatever I've come through these past several days...it has lifted. I'm not saying I won't likely face troubled moments ahead, but rejoicing coz God hears and answers prayers, is a great method to konk fear, failure, shame, doubts, lack of confidence...and any other sly dog or little fox.
The very next thing I did, was go to the Salvoes and buy some pre-loved gym gear and went next door to Salvoes to speak to someone about joining that gym! Going back tomorrow-hopefully to DO my first session!
Time To Take Action-Just DO it!
This is the point: I was led to a place of faith where I could just decide to DO something! I didn't see or hear anything different about situations or circumstances, but The WORD in me was coming alive and clothing itself and Praise & Worship & Rejoicing just sealed the deal.
This is the Lord's salvation being worked out in, and through, us. We all face challenges and struggles. When we turn to the Lord with our whole heart, He is able to intervene on our behalf, orchestrate our ways, constrain our choices and open up the way for us!
Then, we have HIS assurance on the inside of us! Best resting!
That's it for now...

100 Days of Transformation- Day 72...Another Week Goes By
So!
I spent almost all night awake!
I ended up putting on a very cool You Tube of 100 worship songs that went for over 3.5 hrs, and I lay there, genuinely entering into some full blown , praise and worship, intercession and supplications.
I was awake from around 1:20am -5:40.. and got up to shower for church by 7:15! I felt a bit rugged when I first got up, but I was pretty good after that and still going strong now (10:09pm).
I shared a video on FB about it, because I felt it might have been for others as much as me. You can see it here if you like... It's very brief-just 1.35m
https://www.facebook.com/LisaShah/videos/10217859584352942/
I had a good day!
I had gone to bed a bit anxious and concerned about a few things, but I guess all that rejoicing and proclaiming did something to help cast off fears and feelings and worries that are best left behind. It's good medicine. Don't be surprised if you have to repeat the dose on a regular basis-even if not in the middle of the night. It takes time to establish your heart on a healthier bent. Take the FULL COURSE! Amen. :)
The Bible says
Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Is 61:3
Tell you what, it may feel hard to do, but it sure is effective.
It is one of the greatest weapons of our spiritual warfare and one of the gifts of salvation.
Ps 50:23 says that when we sacrifice thanksgiving ( that's the kind you give BEFORE you SEE your desires fulfilled) we honour God, and we open the way for God to show us His Salvation.
Moving ON
This has been quite a challenging week. But I feel that my overnight session was a wonderful way to see it done...along with church and some extended fellowship at a birthday lunch, with treasured people.
Now, we move into Week 5 and I hope to look more deeply into this glorious salvation that was purchased at so great a price,on our behalf.
Till tomorrow...

100 Days of Transformation-Day 73- A Blissful Space
Today was a beautiful day with family and friends.
It was pleasant and peaceful and productive.
I come to the close of it, grateful and satisfied.
Psalm 91...A song of salvation
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High,
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust."
For He will deliver me from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with His pinions,
and under His wings you will find refuge:
His faithfulness is a shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of the might
or the arrow that flies by day,
the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes
and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place-
the Most High, who is my refuge-
no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.
For he will command His angels concerning you,
To guard you in all your ways.
On their hands, they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread upon the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
"Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him.
I will protect him because he knows my name.
when he calls to me, I will answer him.
I will be with him in trouble.
I will rescue him and honour him.
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation"
This is one of the most well known and highly prized psalms written! The words scribed above have ministered life countless times over to those who have turned to the Lord and entrusted themselves to His goodness, faithfulness and attentiveness.
I started this post with the mention of feeling satisfied and grateful. The salvation of our Lord, brings satisfaction ( and everything else listed above is available for the believing heart, too)
Repeatedly, God's word tells us that those who put their hope in the Lord, shall not be ashamed. Here is a helpful place to find some of those scriptures! Cross Reference- more food to mull over, ponder and meditate and have it sink DEEP into your heart and mind, bringing renewal.
Ps 91 finishes with the sense that God's salvation brings satisfaction. Breathe that contentment in!
I recommend another slow read- out loud.
Goodnight!

100 Days of Transformation- Day 75-74-A Shift in Focus
Today's blog is a reflective one.
Although it isn't the weekend yet, I want to pause on what has been emerging for me this week.
Shift #1
First, this week ended the original three week Daniel Fast that I started on Mother's Day (May 12), and ushered in the second three week stage... which included the addition of fish and chicken.
I haven't spoken much on the physical aspects of this fast and that is because I want it to be centred in the Word of God. But, that doesn't mean I didn't plan to include things at some point, or in the summaries. I want to share any good outcomes, and the sometimes rocky roads to getting there-but just not necessarily so publicly as I'm going.
Neither have a divulged the deeper emotional situation-but I will by the last day. Not that anyone cares or is paying attention lol
My hundred days is designed for me to come through all of these things via whatever path it leads, but I confess, this week, I just questioned and second guessed, and wanted to just quit, coz I really didn't FEEL like I was getting anywhere.
The Word, God's Word-is my anchor
This week I leaned even more heavily on scripture in these posts. I wanted to have some more focus and intention about what I'm believing and why. And it is that investment that has held me, coming up to my rescue when unworthy thoughts would slay my resolve.
It's the Voice of the Spirit that rises from reason from within. Godly reason.
Some Physical Facts
One of my BIG intentions with this 100 Days is to find my physical well being balance again. I have been years outside a regular routine, my 'normal' lifestyle, ways and habits and in that time, gone through menopause, as well, which might have been hard enough without that, but I believe it was made much harder-given the constant flux of my life. It would have been a good time to maintain healthy habits and routines.
Consequently, conditions developed and over years just continued to gain a hold. I would sometimes find a healthier window briefly, only to have it all flop back like a tight elastic. I really didn't understand my body any more, or its responses and behaviours.
The voice of a local GP saying You have a lot of things wrong with you... cut much deeper than anything to which she may have referred in the mere medical realm. And this is why we need salvation SOOOO badly. Coz, somewhere within us all, the accuser constantly berates us with the knowledge of our sinful natures and all the failures we have clocked up. After you have lived half a century and fallen short of your own expectations, it's easy to feel like a loser.
Feelings aren't the whole story, though.
It's just time to get back on track and be grateful you get that chance!
I truly believe mid life is for sorting out or being taken out by our 'stuff'.
If you don't get it sorted, it will kill you. At least, that's what I believe. And I have seen a lot of evidence to support this too.
So, I have had physical things flare up for me, around my voice- which is A BIG DEAL. I don't know why, and it isn't responding to my usual efforts. I HAVE TO SING...I have to worship.
I am called to do so, but I will, once more, have to make the stand and own God's promises.
When it comes to singing, I have had a hard ride and been dealt blow after blow of things to have to work through, around and in spite of. But each of these things is a mere FRUIT of the problem, and not the root. Problem is, the fruit is growing wild!
It's time to get to that ROOT, and yes, there may be physical areas that have opened those doors, but even those were opened through spiritual failures on my part. I have struggled to deal with this and forgive myself- even though the shed blood of Jesus is ample payment for it. The ONLY ample payment! Which is why we need it so badly!
I've experienced miraculous healing, instant and powerful. I even had my baby resurrected in the womb! I have also had healing that the Lord took two years to walk me out of, because he wanted to be sure my mind was renewed and I KNEW His power at work in me, through His word. When I was 32, He led me through two years of restoring the top end of my voice, which I thought was lost through nodules at 15/16 yrs old. I hadn't had surgery (they go away if allowed) but had to be virtually silent for a year and I had never used 'singing quality' or falsetto in that 16 yr period.
I got it all back, following His instruction, and in the time frame He gave me.
This is the power of God's Salvation.
The one scripture I want to leave you with tonight, is in the New Testament- from the book of Romans.
For I not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also the Greek Roman 1:16
This is why I won't quit now. This is the Word that has come to save me. The Word regarding this eternal and complete salvation.
Be encouraged to believe.
God is your solution-no matter the problem.
Amen

100 Days of Transformation- Day 76-Promised Salvation III
I took a day off the computer to get out and about a bit. Not sure it was my best choice, as I ended up in lines of thinking that have had a heavy impact. Perhaps I'd have done better to be absorbed and focused in a productive direction.
That stubborn sad situation that I want to accept so I can get over it, just rears itself and threatens to carry away my peace and joy, as well as my confidence in, and hope for, the future. I know it is all part of the grieving process and loss, but...
And carnal thinking would have me believing that I am an utter failure.
And in case you don't realise this, ALL such thoughts, no matter how 'natural', are not scriptural. So now, it's time to simply forsake such thoughts, fix my eyes on Jesus and encourage myself in the Lord!
I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord.Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future Jer 29:11
Rediscover the joy of your salvation
It's hard to believe how mere words can so transform the state of our hearts and minds-and yet, when we receive the Word as the trusted Truth-it produces itself in us and becomes the manifest evidence of what we eagerly anticipate (that's Bible hope)
God's Promised Salvation in Psalm 22 is astounding prophecy-1000 years prior to the crucifixion.
Yesterday, we looked at some of Isaiah's prophecies and I supplied the scriptures for all four gospel accounts of Jesus crucifixion. The point being that the correlation between the promised prophesied salvation of God and the appearance of Him is made unmistakably clear.
Jesus always lived to fulfil the scriptures about him and the Jews were eagerly awaiting their Messiah. But by the time he came, they were too steeped in pride and religious tradition to want to recognise, accept or honour Him. But this was the plan. The priests had to be the ones to slay him.
Psalm 22
The Second Coming of Christ, as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, rather than the Lamb that was slain, is also foretold. |
I'm going to keep this very simple and just line up a few places where there are direct references made in the gospels, to this profound Psalm. My intention is just to keep building an understanding about God's Promise in His Salvation Plan-it's certainty and perfection. No mere man could ever have conceived, let alone executed, such a masterfully orchestrated divine drama spanning the timeline of mankind from beginning to end...and make it known as e went.
Only GOD.
There is a lot of content here.
Consider the verse from Psalm 22 then , look up the verses listed immediately beneath. This psalm was written 1000 YEARS before the event it foretold!
Jesus, and the salvation he was bringing, were long awaited.
What does it mean to you to know that God has demonstrated such an outrageous expression of extravagant love toward you? Jesus because of the joy it would lead to, went through all this, so that you and I could be reconciled to God and be one with the Father, Son and Spirit ( Jn 17:20-26)
And he is coming again!
( I have included two links below for further research. The Open Bible one is rich with content!)

they wag their heads

let him rescue him, for he delights in him!"
Mt 27:43, Mk 15:20
Ps 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to my jaws,
You lay me in the dust of death

Better Thoughts to Think!
I realise there is a lot of verse hunting here, but the truth is, that is how we come to know our Bibles and glean the knowledge of the promises that have the power to save us. This is one kind of study that helps to keep us strong when facing adversity.
Not only so, but it reminds us that the second coming of Christ is also coming and has been foretold in equal fashion...with perhaps in greater number and detail. God is the God who makes known the end from the beginning! ( Is 46:10)
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times, things not yet done,
saying "My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose."
Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

100 Days of Transformation- Day 77-Promised Salvation II
Ok!
Now that I am getting a little bit of order and structure emerging out of the swirl of ideas, we are going to be building daily to work on the thing that matters most: renewing our minds to the Word of God!
True and lasting transformation is done by the Spirit of God within us. It's God doing what only God can do.
Not by Might, not by power,
but by My Spirit, says the Lord Zech 4:6
That being the case, we can hardly expect a purely physical, carnal, natural, or of the flesh approach to get the job done. Jesus went as far as saying
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.
The words I have spoken to you, they are spirit and they are life. Jn 6:63
Spirit powered transformation
The Word in us, affords the Spirit of God opportunity to change us from the inside out into who we long to be. Not by exerting our will to do better, but choosing to establish our hearts through giving God's Word and His Promises our full allegiance, focus and attention. We use our will to choose to believe and then, strengthen ourselves in that decision by immersing ourselves in the Truth.
This is Week 4 and as shared yesterday, we are digging into the Truth about God's promise of salvation-given right at the very beginning- in Genesis 3:15.
If we don't know God offers us salvation, or why we need it, how it applies to today or tomorrow, and most importantly, what happens if we reject it, we will not enjoy any of its benefits.
Daily Building
The fasting continues, and here is today's Fabulous 50s 5 minute workout with Schellea. This time it's for arms. These small steps daily building are aiding the process of rebuilding the muscle mass (particularly of us over 50s women!)
That taken care of, let's move on to what is going to fuel the engine of metaphosis for our internal caterpillars. God's Word. We are building here as well.
Assessing The Need
Yesterday, I shared three verses- 2 from Genesis and 1 from Revelation and all three reference the fact that the Holy Trinity had a plan for Redemption (already having seen the Fall, the corruption of mankind and the need for Jesus to have a pure human body, to offer it, along with his sinless shed blood), well before any of anything had come to pass!
Jesus being crucified wasn't an unexpected blow to God's plan , but rather a blow by blow fulfilled enactment of prophecy, delivered down through the ages from the Spirit, via the prophets of old.
From before the foundation of the world, Jesus was the lamb that was slain for the sins of the world (Rev 5:9)
Isaiah 52
Verses 1-12 highlight the promise of God specifically, regarding His salvation plan
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him, who brings Good news,
Who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness
who publishes salvation and who says to Zion,
"Your God Reigns" Is 52:7
Get your notebook and Bible and record Is 52: 7-10
Yes, it is a few stanzas, but writing the Word out long hand is one of the single most effective ways to have it affect your heart. Isaiah is prophesying how God, by His own hand is wielding the necessary salvation, because ALL of mankind had become corrupt through the Fall (Rom 3:23) and was utterly lost and unable to wield his own and save himself.
Is 52: 13-15- right through Is 53 goes on to detail the specific sufferings of Jesus and what they would make available to lost mankind. Write out Is 53:4-6& 10 -12 Reading these chapters and writing out the highlighted verses will help to solidify the knowledge of love of God for you and for me, and for all who will receive this precious gift of salvation.
Take a few minutes to re-read these two chapters and pause to consider what they mean for you personally-and for any of those whom you love.
These are the gospel accounts of where you can read the fulfilment of these promised events.
Matt 27:1-54, Mk 14:1-40, Lk 23:1-48, Jn 19:1-30
We will be visiting these tomorrow as well.
Psalm 22
This is an incredible 'Messianic Psalm', written by King David as he was moved by the Holy Spirit. It wasn't David's personal experience. He spoke of the promise of salvation, provided through the sacrifice and crucifixion of Jesus, the unblemished Lamb of God.
I recommend you read this psalm through today, but we are going to spend all our Word time on it tomorrow, with reference to the gospel accounts of the crucifixion.
I am working to get to a workbook template that allows for easier recording, review and reference to this content. Study guide and work book are in the pipes! The idea is that we are renewing our minds and establishing our hearts in these Truths- NEVER to be shaken again, and always able to stand confidently on the eternal Living Word, and receive ALL that is promised.
Amen!
Blessings!

100 Days of Transformation- Day 78- Promised Salvation
Today was the commencement of the next stage of my 100 day fast
External Focus- Diet
This meant I went to a second modified version of my original Daniel Fast * (DF)
For me, I added the allowing of fish and chicken (P)...but I have already found this to be a much heavier food, so I will be adding a daily maximum weight of raw meat. (cooks up smaller).
I also allow some yoghurt in the morning on my fruit and the option of that second caffeinated-or no, coffee.
Other than that, the next three weeks will still focus on 75% Fruit & Veg...In last night's table, that shows up as (DF + P)
After three weeks, a different model of fasting will be introduced.
External Focus- Activity
I do feel I fall quite short in this area. Weight-loss and muscle toning would be further along if I had been implementing the suggestions in the table above. I have managed to increase my walking, but I need to continue and add the new activity that comes with this next stage.
Typically, my Burleigh beach walk would be fine, but I am not beach-side at present, nor in the same set up and situation, so it requires further effort to establish and maintain.
The Fabulous 50s 5 min work outs are easy and Shellea is good fun. She has a series of workouts that will be part of my regime.
Now, the next table again.
Scripture Study- Week 4 is a study on God's Promised Salvation.
I haven't done the work template but the verses for today are listed.
My suggestion is that you look them up, note them down, and ponder what God is actually saying to us through them.
Rev 5:9 The Lord said that Jesus is the lamb that was slain from before the foundation of the world. He knew what was going to take place and within the Godhead ( Father, Son and Spirit), the whole plan of redemption was already DONE.
Gen 3:15This is the first mention of God's intention to destroy the work of Satan in bringing the Fall of mankind about, by sending another man, the 'woman's seed'- who is Jesus.
Gen 12:1-3
This is where God calls Abram ( later, Abraham) to leave his life and follow Him. He promises to make him into a nation and to bring blessing to all families on earth through him- this is the promise of Jesus to be born of Abraham's line and be the bearer of salvation for all mankind.
God wanted a people and a family that were of the same kind as Him. Born of the same Word ( Jesus) and filled with the same Life essence ( Holy Spirit)-One in them.
Why Do we Need to be SAved?
The reason this is so important, is that without understanding the need and subsequent promise OF salvation (and what it means), we lack the knowledge to stand on what has been provided for us. If we don't have confidence in what has been provided for us, we can't have the kind of faith that pleases God and rewards the believer. We must have single mindedness to receive ( Jam 1: 8) and we must have faith ( Heb 11:1 & Heb 11:6)
And that faith comes directly from hearing and knowing His Word. ( Rom 10:17) Not just knowing what it says-any parrot can repeat something-but KNOWING it as your experiential truth.
It's time to dig for more treasure!
Are YOU ready to take action by faith?
*Daniel Fast- ( DF)typically a 21 day fasting of all but plain fruit and veg. Many people do variations of this, and make reference to a fast of any kind over 3 weeks being a personal version of a Daniel Fast.
In my case, I added the allowance of egg and cheese, but didn't use it much, especially the egg.
