100 Days of Transformation-Day 70-Follow On

Inspired By The Spirit
Today, I was shown around my new gym and did my first introductory session-following through on my efforts yesterday to sign up. I met with a few glitches, but felt sure this was the place. When I went today, I discovered that the manager, Bec, is a Christian-nice touch, Lord!
I like the way this gym works-24/7, clean and super secure.

Aside from a visit tomorrow, I am booked for a free session with Nikki, just to get to  some kind of start up structure for myself to begin to work to.

I know it's all about getting my body moving and using it to keep it functional.

I want to say that although I have some more action to move on, the timing of this action has come out of the spiritual focus. Like the Fast itself, I had the prompt for it, but it was weeks before I felt ready to undertake the commitment of saying 'no' to a bunch of different foods and daily blogging about it-even when it doesn't seem to matter.

The 'daily building' with the blogging is important for what God wants to do in me, for me, through me. It's part of taking time to appreciate the changes that are taking place and the journey that is being made. It helps to correlate natural events with spiritual exercises and adds confirmation to directives I received, proving God's word-and my hearing of it-true.

Aside from the gym, the e-book and the workshop, I did make another decision yesterday: To get to Burleigh tomorrow (Wednesday) morning for some sun, sand, surf and much overdue walking pleasure! (about 4 kms)

Follow Through

I didn't get much time for following up on the workshop and e-book, although I did confirm a date with my venue and I did outline a first draft of ideas for the e-book.

My beach visit is on! I will probably go between 6:30-7am.
And I'm going to visit Jess for an hour for coffee before the midweek service.
Continuing to take action on the e-book and workshop are really important. The "JUST DO IT" adage is really powering the compelling.

The desire to re-think and over think is always there, but I have an inner Guidance, reminding me to keep it simple and simply get it done. This is the difference that prayer and praise, the Word and the Spirit within make. It is GRACE.

Enabling Grace

When you commit to the Word, and to being led by the Spirit, you hear more clearly and you have the grace to do it.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to [say 'no'] renounce ungodliness, and to worldly passions, and to live self controlled, upright ,and godly lives in this present age, waiting for our Blessed Hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Tit 2:11-13

This grace is the start of our salvation...and remains the centre and finisher of all that God does toward us.

More on this blessed salvation tomorrow.

Night for now!
